Before anyone asks, NO im not at the gate! I got this info from another forum! http://www.gasheads.org/thread/2090/shaquille-hunter
On one level good luck to the lad. City are probably paying 'peanuts' and talk about giving him a go in the U18s: so they have nothing to lose. He's bluddy lucky to have this last chance.
Yes, very lucky he has got another chance. Will he get his head down and take this last chance this time? or will he screw it up and spread his poison amongst his new club? Time will tell. He has 2 months to prove himself.
more details on him joining the reds http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/Bristo...-Hunter/story-25841580-detail/story.html?7878
more like what he didnt do! i heard from several people that he had a very poor attitude and very miss guided from his agent. he turned up to training when he wanted and arrived late for games that he could have been or was involved with. big things was expected of him and big clubs were looking at him but they all stayed away in the end. i wonder why. if he had a good attitude towards everything, he would have played many games for us without a doubt. but his head is a mess and his agent at the time - not sure if he has the same agent now - but he didnt help at all. some details is in the link above p49 may have more details as he seen many youth games over recent years.
i wasnt saying the above in a bitter way mind like some do when a player leaves and joins a rival club. not having a club since leaving us apart from playing a few minutes in 1 game for mangotsfield, may have given him a major kick up the ass. the chance you are giving him, he may actually gratefully take it. we all would hope so as he has potential. he had teams like man city and chelsea watching him regularly at our youth level. but i wont be surprised if he impresses and gets a good contract then slips into his bad ways again.
