    Although when he retired the directors made a nce speech I believe he was not allowed in the directors box and had to ask for tickets to watch us. The club treated him terribly once he retired.

    I had a boss speck at the 74 FA Cup homecoming in the video, Shanks and the players and backroom staff, John Conteh with his world title belt and the local dignitaries were on the top steps of the Art Gallery and I managed to get on the top steps of the Library next door to it.:emoticon-0103-cool:

    Today is the 20th anniversary of the death of Bob Paisley, sadly there's hardly been mention of it or his achievements on the main footy sites, Bob was also an important part of what made Shanks the success he was at LFC.
