http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shankill_Butchers Watched this on BBC4 last night - so did Edge - what an apt name (shank and kill)! ****in serious nutters - and at large!
Nice to see you back from the Conrad Murray trial Dev. Was justice done or was it just seen to be done?
I found the celebratory cries from Jacko's family pretty nauseating to be honest, they seem to be celebrating the fact that they have someone to blame (and doubtless someone to sue). I don't know who was to blame and I don't really give a tinker's cuss to be honest, but I will not mourn the death of a child abuser.
I think the Doc has been done up like a kipper. America needed someone other than Michael himself to blame. He did not help his case by refusing to testify though.
I didn't follow the trial to be honest but I agree with you regarding Murray's silence, to me on a personal level that is an admission that you have something to hide.
Did you squeal when you were caught with your hand in the till when you were a rozzer? Or did you just retire and avoid the consequences like all the other filth criminals?
If I had anyone to squeal on I would have. I had no one to blame but myself for my sacking (unfortuantely). Moral of the story: Don't phone in sick and go to a nightclub
I've heard that the Shankhill Butchers were angry that Cafflicks had put up the price of cows and lambs, thus they took the law into their own hands? Is this an accurate description?
More like serial killers than "freedom fighters" ... the shankill butchers were one of many dirty marks on N.I's history. I didnt see the programme tho, worth a watch on iPlayer?
I meant to watch it, will I get it on iplayer? In fact, instead of wasting my time typing out the question here I am just going to check iplayer myself.
Yeah, catch up on it - interesting documentary! I don't usually bother with all that Irish ****e but this had the word Butcher in it ... I love a steak pie me!
