Shane long to Southampton

Just seen Jim White tweet that Shane Long is on his way to Southampton for £12 million...??

 

as posted on the other thread, maul their hands off at that price and lets try a super ambitious signing and go for Remy!

 

I really like Shane Long but £5m profit in 7 months is terrific business. Would love to see us push the boat out and sign a top striker for that money, remy would be brilliant but I imagine his wage demands are excessive.

12m + the remaining transfer kitty should be enough to take Remy off QPRs hands.

No way should we be losing Shane Long. Can't even see a link for it?

Annoying thing is its so close to QPR and with Jelavic not match fit we havent got a proven PL striker to lead the line.

Remy would be an incredible signing and surely with £12m we could get him if he wanted to come. Remember Long is on £45k so wages shouldn't be too much higher
