How good could this lad be? Every time he has played he looks calm, a threat, composed and an all round good left sided player, which is quite rare.

He is a tiny lad, really small and skinny but skilful. I hope he is part of the first team next year, **** the loan deals, he has proven he can do it.

I reckon he could become quite established and if treated right, could be a future winger on the international scene. Hopefully whilst with NUFC.

    Thoughts?

I think he's got masses of potential but needs first team games to really come on.

To get that then he might need the loan move.

Next year may be a bit too early but agreed. I want him to stay here and develop into a great 1st team player

He gave us an idea of what he could do last season against Chelsea and nothing has changed as far as I'm concerned. He's a great little player and I hope we hang onto him.

The best thing is he's fit and ready to once again underline his potential on Sunday.
    He is a fantastic prospect!

He is already international class IMO

Considering he is Northen Irish - haven't a clue why he doesn't get in their squads

I really like him and I think he could go on to become as good as, if not better than Gareth Bale...

Huge potential there, definite future international. Think he can play a part next season as cover for Jonas and Enrique, while playing in the cups and even being used in rotation in the busier winter months.

Hope he doesn't get loaned out, I'd much rather he stay here because every time he's played a first team game for us he's been one of the best on the pitch. It's exciting whenever he has the ball in attack because he's creative, very rarely screws up a pass and can take on some of the best defenders in the league as if he's had years of experience doing it. Want to see this lad getting plenty of time next year in our own team.

I do think he has loads of quality, I watched him vs Stoke again today and he just has so much confidence and ability.
Just hope he isn't just a part of Mike Ashley's business model :(

  11. I'd not send him out on loan. He's basically on the edge of a first team spot. He's in the top 14-16 players we have and could be used when needed. He's basically our back up LB and LM, but Ranger needs to go out on loan.

He is a little gem of a weapon! Quick and agile which I would hate to see wasted at a lower club. Let's keep him and develop him our way!

Can we all agree that he will be better than Gutierrez?

Too early to tell in my opinion.

He has potential but it's up to him to realise it and maintain it.
