Seeing the MOTD highlights, it seemed like he was our best player. He was so unlucky not to score, and was causing so many problems.

Anyone think he desrves a start against Wolves? Possibly not at LB, where his definding is questionable, but at LM in place of Jonas???

    Thoughts?

  2. No, i think he's ****ing class, but if Enrique and Jonas are fit they should start. If we are 3-0 up then take off Jonas and put on Ferguson.

I think Ferguson has the potential to be much better than Jonas, but he isn't yet.

Depends on the game Wolves want to play.

If it's resorting to kicking players off the pitch again then I'd hate to see him on the pitch. Jonas is far better at getting free kicks from these tactics as well :)

I wouldn't play him left back. We need him going forward, however I think Pardew will play him there. Gutiierez on the left and if Best is fit, him and Shola upfront.

Another way that we might have to play is Fergie on the left, Gutierrez on the right, Nolan and Barton in the middle, Taylor/Simpson as full backs.

I would put Ferguson in place of Jonas for the last 10 minutes so that he can wave to RIP Barton's Tash

I would play the lad only if Enrique is ruled out.
He and Jonas down the left could be devastating as both are brilliant runners with the ball, obviously the end product isnt quite their yet but it could be for this game <ok>

I'm liking this, should provide enough defensive cover to deal with Jarvis too.

Anybody know what Enrique's condition is? Is he likely to play against Wolves?

Chances are the team will pick itself based on fit bodies. But one thing is for sure I am not worried about Ferguson being in our team. I think he showed enough promise against Stoke and Chelsea that we can play him if we have to. And going forward i hope he is given more and more chances until he becomes a first team regular because I think he has the potential to be just that.

Wouldnt play Ferguson behind Guti. Due to Jonas blocking the channel and stopping him getting forward

I have a feeling that Nolan will single Henry out for some retribution.
