The Daily Mail hint at the fact that Pardew could switch Gutierrez to the right and give the young Irishman his first start of the season. I think he is an amazing prospect, and looks lethal on the left wing. Really looking forward too his first apperance!

Would be good but I think Sammy will start on the right like he did against City

Hopefully! I'd be a bit worried about how strong the left side would be defensively though if it's two attacking players or Fergie and Raylor.

I'm not sure thats a wise move. Man Utd will be out for blood after that shock defeat, i'd field your strongest available team, even if it means (begrudgingly) playing Obertan on the right, and Jonas can keep his normal spot on the left.

    Obertan's injured.

I'd play Ferguson and Jonas. Or a formation in another thread that had Best Ba and Ben Arfa

He's injured, Ferguson is arguably our strongest fit winger after Guti and Raylor

I dunno really, I'd say Shane Fergie could actually be in our strongest team right now. I rate him a lot more than Obertan and really would consider putting Jonas in front of Simpson and Santon with Fergie on the left.

    Obligatory Fergie video:

I'm fully expecting him to play Lovenkrands on the right.

This could be the start of something great; Gutierrez pairing with Simpson and getting forward, Fergie with Raylor providing cover and switching positions fluidly to allow Raylor space to cross.

Hopefully. He looked very promising last season and i'm dissapointed not to have seen him so far this year. However if we play like the other day it's gona really piss me off because he probably won't get in the game much

If i were Pardew, i'd reconsider my position on refusing to play HBA on the right. He has far more natural ability than any other candidate for the role, and you want to field your best possible 11.

Totally agree with the bit in bold. Sums up my thoughts re Fergie. I'd much prefer him to play instead of Sammy, who has probably had twice as many run outs as Fergie and has yet to do anything worth getting excited about. Past time Fergie was given another chance.

I'd love to see Fergie but most likely it'll be Lovenkrands - LM with Jonas - RM or just Raylor - RM

Got every faith in Fergie and I'm sure he wont let us down when the time comes.

    Krul
    Simpson Williamson Colo Santon
    Raylor Tiote Cabaye Jonas
    Ben Arfa
    Demba Ba

I would go for this and like Kyle said above we need to field our strongest team.

I BEG YOU PARDEW PLEASE NO HOOFBALL! We play best with the ball on the ground and that's how we've been playing most of the season.

I think Ferguson is more ready to play than Sammy is. Sammy looks like he could be an OK player but is too raw. Ferguson proved last season he can play at this level. Hopefully he's bulked up a bit.

Honestly, as mad as it sounds, Ferguson probably offers more going forward and more end product than Obertan and Jonas. I think we'll be fielding a stronger side with him in it.
