Slightly off topic, but massive well done to Shamrock Rovers of Dublin, going to Partizan Belgrade and winning 2-1 on the night, 3-2 on agg, and will now be in the group stages of the europa league (i think).
They did something we couldnt do, twice - we were put out of the european cup winners cup by partizan and as most of you will know were put out of the champions league qualifying by them which contributed greatly to our recent downfall with the missed revenues from the group stages. So with the opposition in mind, congrats to the league of ireland side.

p.s. no scottish side left in europe and we arnt even into september!

I won this for Shamrock by putting Partizan to win on an accumulator. They have reaped the rewards of my terrible luck!

was it only shamrock to cost you aginairr? unlucky if so. yeah, also pleased to see hughton's side in the main stage (altho it may hinder their domestic season), but excellent all the same. dont know much about nacional, but im assuming they finished fairly well up the portuguese league to qualify, and to win 3-0 in outstanding.

Celtic could still go through Sion played FIVE players that uefa and FIFA said wern't registered, as Sion had a transfer embargo placed on them, although they said a swizz court ruled in their favour, all is not lost yet
