I must confess, I don't find it particularly funny - the only amusing part is the captioned picture at the beginning.

It's not that I'm offended, I just think the humour is very German - crude for the sake of it, rather than being clever or witty. I wouldn't find it funny if they did a similar thing about whichever famous person supports So'ton. I'm obviously getting old and prudish! <laugh>

You guys realise it's not meant to be taken seriously? The guy who wrote it is a notorious poster on another saints forum for his witty and humorous opinions.

I think everyone realises that, it's a bit crass and vulgar. Certainly not my kind of humour.

Olly, we're not offended by it, just not amused as Queen Victoria might have said!

I can see the humour, it's just not mine. I must have missed the wit though.

Have to agree with that. A gutter sort of humour. Let's hope the Saints players come with such low expectations! Roll on Saturday

It's a bit like being at Mary Whitehouses coffee morning on here tonight, it's not exactly my type of humour but it made me chuckle a few times, way I see it if you can't laugh at your own club who else can you laugh at.

Surprised there isn't something about grown men with wigs and their face painted or the flask and blanket brigade in the City Stand <laugh>

You could laugh at everyone else's club? I know I do!

I'm more than happy to shoulder the usual Norfolk jibes, but the stuff about Delia was cringeworthy, and the predictable homophobia regarding SF - he's such an easy target isn't he?

Still, go ahead and enjoy it if it's your thing. <ok>

I was expecting Norfolk jibes and there wasn't any so it really doesn't bother me that much. I'm sure Delia has heard a lot worse from people in the stands, if Stephen Fry saw it he wouldn't lose much sleep over it, nobodies is exactly threatening to behead him because they disagree about his lifestyle.

No, but it's all crass and predictable, and not worth the time I wasted reading it.

Nothing wrong with a bit of gutter humour every once in a while.

Some would say it's bordering on satirical too, which amuses me further.

I like crass and vulgar in humour sometimes when it's done right it can be very funny, but this was witless and absent of intelligence of any kind!

    Bah!
