Is all I have to say.

I'm posting this now in the vain hope that I might pre-empt a comeback.

But in the probable event that I don't, the title stands.

4-0 now, I think that title will be just fine.

Very difficult listening. It doesn't seem that we can get anything going at all, and some really poor individual performances. Worrying.

We need to re-organise the defence they are taking the ****ing piss, Martin is useless at centre back might of been a soft penalty but that clown is costing us goals again, Whittaker is appalling sometimes and Olsson looks a shadow of the player he was last season, we need to get Ryan Bennett back as soon as possible.

The only positive, if it can be called that, to come from tonight has to be that this is a real wake-up call. We've had games recently where we've been the better side but not converted that into 3 points, which is frustrating but losing games you should have won is part of football. Tonight though, our inability to compete with a rival for promotion cannot be shrugged off with easy excuses.

On paper our squad may be the most expensive in the division, more expensive than Leicester and Burnley's and twice the value of Middlesbrough's but that is not translating onto the pitch. Are any of our squad playing to the standard they are capable of?

Too true Rob, easily the worst yet this season, the defence sounded completely at sea. For heaven´s sake play Martin at RB and bring in a competent and specialist CB, until we do, I fear we will have several more like this. Teams clearly know where our weak links are and are now beginning to exploit them, this is by no means the first game where opposition goals have come from attacks down their own left flank.

Adams is beginning to look like a one trick pony and the one trick is not working anymore

Boro are the first team we've played since our blip began who you'd expect to be up there and we've been thrashed. Absolutely put to the sword.

Ominous signs. But only one game. If we win away at Forest then
I think most of us would have taken three points from these two games.

If we play like that we won't pick up many more points this season though.

Let's hope NA can now see that the defence needs an overhaul and he only has 4 days in which to do it!!!!

Confidence confidence confidence, the team is draining confidence week on week and NA looks like he cant do a thing to stop it, the team dont have faith in his experiments and thats now pretty obvious, every shot missed and goal let in is sinking them deeper, i just read on another website about how ipswich are over achieving with their limited resources and are above us in the table, so does that apply to every team above us? its more like how appalling we are performing as team, each individual player on paper should be smashing it at this level, but we are not a team, it wont be long before the crowd start showing there voice and we know how this is going to end....

Yes on paper, just not tonight!

There'll be many twists and turns this year, I'm sure you guys will be up there come the end of the season.

Isn't there a whole separate board where you can do that...? Have you ever found it? <whistle>

And much as I hate to admit it - thoroughly deserved. At least you're playing as a team, whereas we're playing like a load of misfits!!!

Don't understand why Lafferty plays wide mid-field - he is a striker (although he has yet to score, have we another Elmander here?). Hooper cost £5.5m and hasn't started a match all season and hasn't scored either - his injury was months ago. Grabban scored 22 goals for Bournemouth last season so he has proved that he can cut in the Championship, but he has not scored for, what is it, 6/7 games? Another stuffing like this at Notts Forrest and NA will be in the sh*t big time. There appears to be something rotten in the state of NCFC.
