...& don´t call yourself a fan. Leicester fans flog seats for £3,000: Foxes rush to cash in on title race LEICESTER City fans are cashing in on their fairytale season by selling tickets for the last few home games at hugely inflated prices. What money can do to someone. I would much rather see the team I love do, maybe, a once in a life time thing, lift the biggest trophy in English football & see history being made. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/506962/Leicester-fans-flog-tickets-3-000-title-race
Not surprising - I remember looking tickets to the last home game of the season when we were in L1 and were to be presented with the trophy. Touts were selling those tickets for £200.
I wouldn't sell mine for £10K You will always earn money in your life but you may never see this again This is a reward for the real fans who watched the shower of **** get relegated to League 1, went to places like Cheltenham, Stockport, Yeovil, Hereford etc. Who kept the faith last season when we looked dead and buried We always dreamt of seeing our team do this but never thought it was possible. People will always jump on the bandwagon and try and cash in on our success but the true Leicester fans will saviour this for the rest of our lives
Same here (if l lived in England) I´ve been when l could mind, inc the Sunderland friendly & Carlise away in the lge cup to name a few.
You can keep your money! I remember standing with 8,000 others at Filbert Street and going away to Newcastle in the Zenith Data cup!! I never, ever thought I would see MY team do what we are doing this season. It makes it all worth while, going down to Maidstone in the cup and then sitting on the hard shoulder at midnight listening to the cup draw, whilst waiting for the breakdown truck to bring us some petrol!!!!
I hope they do a video of the Everton game, even if its just a fixed position camera for the aftermath of the match. If i wasn't at a wedding, i'd probably still struggle to get a ticket for it as a silver member!
After being there for all the 'glory years' in the Championship & League 1 it's disappointing to have no chance to see us possibly achieve our greatest ever moment because some people have decided to go this year. I'd have your ticket Wizard but i can't strech to £3k.....
The unauthorised sale of football tickets is a criminal offence under UK law. Leicester City Football Club will take action against any ticket touting or any attempt to resell tickets for above their face value. "We encourage all supporters to report any such activity to the Club."
Tickets are now on sale for £15,000 according to the BBC. Some photos of tickets on sale have been released so the club should void these tickets, ban that buyer from ever buying tickets again and resell them tickets
The club have issued the following statement- Leicester City offers some guidance to supporters ahead of remaining fixtures in 2015/16 Barclays Premier League season... In light of the unprecedented demand that currently exists for Leicester City tickets, supporters are reminded that all Leicester City tickets must be purchased directly from the Club. The unauthorised advertising and selling of Premier League tickets is illegal. If you buy tickets from an unauthorised source, whether that be an unauthorised website, an online marketplace or a ticket tout outside the ground, you risk being denied entry to the match and losing the money you paid. Tickets sold by such methods will become void, which will lead to the bearers being denied entry to, or removed from, the stadium. The Club has a duty of care to its supporters and is working diligently to prevent ticket touting, while also encouraging all fans to report any such activity. As a result, a small number of Season Ticket Holders and Members have this week received multi-year bans, preventing them attending Leicester City games or purchasing tickets to any Leicester City fixture, as well as having their own Season Tickets and Memberships cancelled without compensation. If you have suffered a negative experience, or have information on unauthorised ticketing activities that you wish to share in confidence, please contact the Club by emailing [email protected] or the Premier League by emailing [email protected]. Please note that tickets and hospitality packages for all three of Leicester City’s remaining 2015/16 Premier League home games against West Ham United, Swansea City and Everton have sold out. It´s hardly crime of the century, but at the same time people are making money from club property. I´d love to see them lift the trophy (if they win it that is.)
