Tonight Russ Goldman, US based Fulham fan and blogger, (and a couple of other fans) had a radio interview with the new owner. Very pertinent questions and very open, straight answers. Cleary his focus is business related rather than a love of football per se - sustainability being the key word. Nonetheless he demonstrated a sound knowledge of Fulham, the Club, and real enthusiasm for the future. Noted: there will not be an open cheque book in the current transfer round. Well worth a listen. That was a good interview with Mr Khan. Nothing ground breaking, but it was a clear idea of his thoughts on taking on Fulham. It sounds like he will keep most of the personnel and allow them to progress the team, and only get involved in supporting them in finance, but if after that the do not produce then there may be changes. He wants the team to progress from 12th place this season. He is a business man and it sounds very much that he is going to push the corporate and building of better ground facilities such as the new stand and premium seating(!!!). Interesting to hear the talk after about from the interviewers on Kerim Frei, in that I agree with them that it might be best to loan him out, instead of selling him outright.
