I'd forgotten about him in all honesty.

Another leech. Would have an honest player with no ability (Henry) over him any day.

He would need a dramatic change of motivation for him to return, IMHO.

Not sure he has it in him (hope I'm wrong)

Don't see how you can call him a leech - he was always a trier, unlike some.

Agree, sort out the rolling around on the ground and I have no issue if he wants to put the work but he's going to have to fight for his place. I certainly wouldn't discount him and would provide some useful cover. Not his best position but able to fill in at CB and thought he was superb at old Trafford at RB.

I agree with Stroller that calling him a leech is unfair but I wouldn't want to see him back if we got back into the Premiership, just not good enough.

I liked him. I remember both great play like when he broke from defense and set up Remy for goal of the season, his enthusiasm, and giving his shirts away, but also a lot of bad passing, wild shooting and unaware defensive play. I'm not sure what his best position is, and if he's really good enough for the PL. He's surely good enough for the Championship - but then he may not be quite so interested in returning!

Good to have him back maybe a bit more relaxed as always thought he was trying too hard

Now he is a great player no doubt in my mind an he do it for us?

We are currently about graft but IMO not quality Mbia should make the World Cup also and so could be bang on for a return when we go up

To me he always looked like he genuinely cared. I'd have him back

His best position? Midfield for Sevilla, I'd say...

I can't believe you all rate him. He had/has the brains of a rocking horse- second only to Diakite.

He can go fcuk himself & stay away, not good enough & was he one them that disrupted the dressing room? He's out of contract anyway.

I'd have him back. A good player - great for us at OT - apart from the theatrical rolling about

Believe he only signed a two year contract, meaning he's a free agent come the summer. Can't see him play for us again.

I wouldn't want him in our midfield because he is clumsy and his passing is generally hopeless. I don't miss the rolling around on the ground theatrics. When he was featured in the programme one week, quite late on in his QPR career, he claimed his best position was Centre Back. I would have liked to have seen him play there more.

I'm a little disappointed that no-one commented on the thread title. It's supposed to be sung to the Um-Bongo tune........

worst player I have ever seen play in the Premier League, an absolute laughing stock who I never want to see or hear of again in relation to QPR

Funny, his worst position for us was always midfield which is his favoured position.

    Fruit Cake anyone?
