Ok we have seven points on the board and we are unbeaten and feeling that things are going in the right direction. However if we had seven points but had lost two games and won two would we still feel the same way. I was thinking about this and dispite the logical part of my brain telling me it should make no difference I know that I would not be feeling as happy as I do now if we had lost those two games and still had the same number of points?
I think I would rather have had the same points lost 2 games but performed better and clearly deserved to win games! With a bit of bad luck, we could easily be in the relegation zone at this point because although we've battled hard you cannot say that we deserved to win any matches! I just hope that our performances pick up!!
I think teams will look at us and think feck they are tough, unbeaten and only conceded 4. If you can change the mentality of the opposition then that's a very good thing. Man City won't be looking at us as an easy 3 points.
To be honest 7 points from 5 games we havn't played well in and also unbeaten. It's the mark of good team spirit and a good team. We all know there is a lot of improvement to come in terms of playing. However the next two matches could define our season. Both could be easily lost and that would put us close to the bottom by the end of October but 4 points and still unbeaten well that would look pretty darn good!
Go for all six agreed in fact go 99 more points this season I say, but that is not going to happen, i would like to be unbeaten stall after the Mags game, if thats two draws good if its a win and a great great if the win is againsts the Mags dream land if it is two wins I know that I have died and gone to heaven!
