I've been disappointed with our inability to score from set pieces so far this season. Other than Lafferty's free kick against Rotherham, which was turned in by Jerome and the short corner which Olsson eventually scored from away at Cardiff we've not really threatened.

With the way teams are playing against us at Carrow Road set pieces could end being very important. I think Redmond's delivery has been pretty good, so I wouldn't say we're lacking massively in that area.

Not too sure what's wrong. Are our players making runs too early or too late? Not attacking the ball effectively and believing they car score? Is it that the delivery is too easy to defend, despite being put into good areas?

With the way we've dominated the last two home games, with nine corners against Charlton and 12 against Rotherham, I'd like to see us make these count more, whilst not compromising our style.
 
I've thought it odd too, and when we're dominating games without scoring then set pieces are too good an opportunity to keep squandering. Turner, Martin, Jerome and Johnson are all reasonably good in the air so I'm surprised we haven't made more of them.
 
I remember Adams saying something earlier in the season about being disappointed with our threat from corners and that it was something that we were working on. Obviously more work to be done.

You're right. Turner, Martin, Jerome and Johnson especially are good headers of the ball. We were told Hooiveld was a threat too. I think that's one of the reasons we brought him in. Hasn't quite worked out like that yet!
 
I actually think it's the delivery. Redmond just simply can't whip the ball in fast enough and angled correctly - you need a specialist for that. I'm sure he's working on it though as his delivery is improving by the match, but I can't see us scoring from a set piece at the moment unless there is a defensive cock up

IMO, if Redmond (or whoever is taking the corners) could just get the ball further away from the keeper, then our players would have a better chance of being able to score. Too may corners are being caught by the keeper or headed away by the defenders.

Yep, agreed - though a lot of that is pace and angle/flight rather than direction I think. If you hit the ball very hard with it swerving, it's much more difficult for the 'keeper to judge it safe to punch/catch
