Referring back to my post against Bristol City when we won 3-0, I thought I’d have a look to see what I listed and whether I was at all accurate.

“Another point I will make is our defending set-pieces. Our marking/ jossling / first to the ball was VERY VERY POOR. City missed two free headers from 6/ 10 yards out, at least 1 should have been a goal or on target minimum. We are rather small and I fear we could concede quite a few goals from set pieces.......”

I’d say that was right. We CANNOT defend set pieces it was patently obvious to me that day we would concede a bucket load from that. It hasn’t really improved either which is a worry....!

It aint just set peices mate! - We cant defend and Im not sure some of them can actually play football at all. The two set pieces on Saturday were annoying but the 3rd goal we conceded was unbloodybelievable. 30 seconds to go, attacking throw in which is thrown behind our last defender straight to their striker and 5 seconds later it is in our net. If anyone knows a hitman please let me have their details because Edwards should be shot for that!
