You may call me crazy, when I suggest Sessegnon is the new Gareth Bale? I actually think Sessegnon is a tidy player, and is one of few which had played fairly decent over the last 7 games. His first game for the club was versus Chelsea, and funnily enough has played every minute since he arrived at the club. That's 7 consecutive 90 minutes without a victory. The reason I compare him to Gareth Bale, as didn't he play 24 games for Spurs without being on the winning side. In the end, Redknapp decided to bring Bale on when 4-0 up with minutes remaining to end this bad run......... It's quite clear he is a bad luck charm, and the only way to break this, is keep him on the bench for a game we are comfortably winning, and then bring him on for the last few minutes, to break this curse........ Perhaps West Brom, he should be on the bench, and bring him on for last few minutes when 3 or 4 nil up? Thoughts?
thats what i was saying the other day watching the match!! Harry was actually funny when he said he brought him on at 4-0 with 2 mins to go so he couldnt do any damage!
Good idea-take out 1 of your better players on some 'lucky charm' school of thought and so weaken the team. You are bound to win then aren't you. LOGIC
Typical, it might have something to do with our 7 games against extremely tough opponents. Think we should give him more of a chance before we confine him to Bale-like bad luck.
Im sure the article was a joke, we all know hes our most creative player, and what we were lacking at the start of the season.
sess is probably the player that is dividing us the most. some like him and say he's the next big thing, got skill and pace. then you have the other side with people like myself who fail to see what he has brought to the team we didn't already have. forget the hooddoo, but sess is no gareth bale. spurs have slapped 80mill on bale, bruce should slap 8 quid on sess with a buy one get one free, take your pick from mensah or muntari
must have left his bag of tricks at home, or maybe he's just not given the freedom to use them.......
Luck, praying to some mythical being or any other claptrap doesn't win matches. Hard graft wins matches! The top teams don't just have the best skilled players they have grafters through out the team. Watch any Barca game and you will see what I mean, every player putting a shift in even if they are 2 or 3 goals up, they never stop. It's no good one or two players grafting whilst the rest just meander about. Sess can only get better by the whole team getting better.
Fact,,,,,, a good played will not become a bad player overnight, however, a player just coming into the hardest league in the world, and played out of position, has got to have a few problems, IMO.
