This lad is awesome, so much flair and good movement. But he is not a f**king striker, and never will be.

For some reason Bruce has decided he is our best striker...

What he scored 3 goals in pre-season against s**t teams. He scored 3 goals against s**t teams last season. 1 of them a penalty, another a decent finish and the one against West Ham dodgy keeping.

For me, Sessegnon would do well on the left and drift into the middle. A bit like Malbranque did.

Team I would go for is...

    -----------------Westwood-------------

    O'Shea-----Brown-----Anton-------Bardo

    Larsen-----Garnder----Catts-------Sessegnon

    -------------Gyan------Ji--------------

That its by far our best team! Though Bruce will not think so.....

That is the exact team I would pick.

That team instantly looks a handful.

Makes sense to me, although have doubts about Clatterhard, I suspect SB will never play this side or be able to motivate them, but worth a try I think.

At least until a LW and proven striker is brought in (Ho Ho)

    Bardo-----Brown-----Anton-------OShea

    Larsen-----Garnder----Catts-------Sessegnon

Get the full backs the right way round and I am with you, I would maybe go for Ricco behind Gyan like against Blackpool last year.

Completely agree. Exact team I'd go for, with the players we have available and fit at the moment.

It could be worse it could look like this at the back:-

    Angeleri Nos Killgannon Richardson

    and these 2 upfront:-

    McCartney Turner

All tongue in cheek lads, I know emotions have been running high but I'm sure Bruce will get his act together (I hope!!)

Think everyone can see this team makes sense. Jesus, havn't seen so much agreement recently. If O'Shea not fit would even look to get Bramble in and get Ferdinand at right back or left back. Any news on O'Sheas fitness?

I know 2 strikers, how long has it been since we have seen this? Not since Welbeck and Gyan were such a hit...

how we miss Welbeck... he is looking like a potential 20million player.

Any news on transfers? or just the norm carp players we are linked to *cough* Santa Cruz *cough*

And do you know the simple reason why that looks like a handful?

They're all playing in their correct or familiar positions!!

The sooner Bruce realises this, the sooner we start winning games...

How come, the majority of us supporters can pick a team, agree on it,with players in their rightful positions, and our current manager can't??

I don't know how a manager cannot pick players in the correct we team, but us fans who don't get paid millions can make better decisions... I know that it is hard being a manager, I am for one moment not saying I could do it... but how hard is it to pick a team with players in the correct positions??

My Sunday League team is run better than this! Atleast we all play in the correct positions.

If O'Shea unfit, i would play Colback at left back (He would be unfortunate to be left out).

looking forward to Meyler getting fit, because I think he is better and more reliable than Cattermole.
