Sess is banned for 3 games and Cattermole for 4. http://www.safc.com/news/20120305/sunderland-pair-handed-bans_2256213_2633624
Sess out for 3 put Campbell in, Catts out for 4 we have Vaughan and Colback. That leaves the bench looking very thin on talent but, I'm sure we will be okay. Everton is a tough game with both of us looking at the cup as our best bet for success this season, an away game against a bit of a bogey team so for me anyway no pressure.
One incident too many for me for Cattermole, I am sure that Colbeck or Meyler will cover his absence - time to make Gardner club captain in the summer. Much more concerned about the Sess suspension, although I guess MON will probably play 442 in his absence, with Bentner (who had his best game yesterday I thought) and Campbell up top.
I don't mean this in a negative way, but from an outsiders perspective, I'm very interested to see how you guys will do now. Sessegnon is obviously an extremely important player, but how important I never really knew because he was always, always in the side. Now we get to see just how much of an influence he really had. Should be interesting.
I thought Cattermole had an excellent game yesterday. However, to get sent off after the final whistle was stupid..
