No idea how good he is as I don’t follow the PL, but that kind of money in these times is obscene and shows why a review is needed, whether it will have enough teeth to achieve the changes needed is another issue though.

Don't be so childish, it's a fair comparison on value for money, somebody with a world renown reputation and 33% cheaper also if you look at the thread my opinion is the opinion of every other poster so far, yet again all on your own.

Don't really see the argument, he had 3 years left on his contract and that's what Brighton valued him at, Arsenal was willing to pay it as they feel he will add strength to their side.....no big deal..
I personally think the majority of transfers nowadays are obscene...but that's how it is..

Fair enough, but my comparison reference value for money of Varane was a fair comment and not requiring of the abuse.

Yes to an extent Arsenal are buying potential, but I think this is good move for White and Arsenal
