Sergio Romero starting the Europa league final

Jose Mourinho has confirmed he'll play our back-up goalkeeper on May 24th, For me, I have no problem with it whatsoever, He deserves his chance to play in a final with us and He's kept us in games in the Europa league this season to be fair to him.

Good - man deserves it. Can see whoever you bring in playing second fiddle to him next season as aside from him punching more often then not, he has been really solid for you.

Is pretty much a guarantee he is moving to Madrid - will be interesting what you get in return seeing you are linked with James and Varane from them.

 

Why?

Reports coming out of Spain say he has no wish to leave United and I am pretty sure we wouldn't push him out.
Even Balague has said his wish is to stay at Old Trafford, hmm.........sorry you are probably right now he has said it

 

Well it would be very harsh on Romero to not play him when he's played every game in the Europa.

I don't want to lose De Gea to Madrid, but if he is so determined to move home then why not make him part of the Griezmann deal and sell him to Atletico. We could then buy Oblak off them aswell as a replacement. I'm sure Atletico would like him back, and we'd get one over on Real in the process.

I rather have Gea

 

De Gea should play, harsh on Romero or not.

He's our No.1 and best keeper by a mile, he could be the difference between winning it or losing it.

 

Why didn't De Gea play last night of Romero is playing the final?

 

Keeping Romero match fit probably. He's been used to playing regular midweek games for the last couple of months, no need to rest the keeper for two whole weeks in advance of the final.

 

If my mate is correct then to keep him safe in case Romero gets an "injury" between now and then so De Gea has to start.
