What a debut!! I know it's not sunderland related but this lad looks an outstanding player.

Did well to score his first. Although it looked like a tap in he still had to get there. How he kept the ball in and placed it perfectly for Silva (who for me was MoTM seen as Aguero only played 20 mins) I'll never know. His third, well, it's just a sensational finish!

Huge price tag for him but he showed why he cost so much and a just 23 he's still very young. Exciting player to watch indeed.

Life after Tevez (if he does actually go) might not be so bad for City now...

I agree he was fantastic, I think Man City might just have enough about them to win this league!

I said before the season started:

    1. City
    2. United

Very, very long way to go yet though!

One of the best Debut's ive ever seen!!

It's very early to say , and i dont see many teams giving them as much room to play as Swansea did. Title contenders ??? MOST Defiantly

Credit to Swansea like they came up playing football and they look like thats not gonna change.

If I was old enough to bet I'd put my money on that like. Although there is a long way to go I'd say the Manchester clubs will be first and second and I'd have to say City would just edge it for me. Time will tell.

Man Utd have that winning mentality. You always know they're in with a shout in every game up until the final whistle. No other team can match them in that respect but in terms of sheer quality and strength of squad Man City edge it for me. Although...Chelsea could well end up as dark horses when Torres comes good (which he undoubtedly will IMO)

If Utd get Sneijder then the title is theirs, if not I think the fragility of De Gea as he gets up to speed may hand City the title

What are you basing the "fragility of De Gea" on? One mistake? Yeah sure, one mistake on his first game in English football and hes now a fragile player. Trust me if youve seen any reasonable amount of play from him, youll realise hes anything but fragile.

I agree Aguero looked fantastic and what a second goal! If City are unable to sell Tevez I'm sure he'll get games and the prospect of perhaps Tevez/Aguero with Da Silva in behind them is mouth watering.

City have got every chance of winning the league this year but write Man U off at your peril!

Take Rooney out UTD, they look very average to me (relatively speaking).
With the joyous memories of Barcelona ripping through Fergie's lot still fresh in my mind. I tip City for the title.

    City.
    UTD.
    Chelsea.
    Liverpool.

I dont think so, vidic and ferdinand are two of the best CBs in the game today and evra is in the top5 left backs in the world also. lets not forget there quality on the wings in Nani, Young, Valencia and Park.
If hernendez continues where he left of last season then he'll contribute alot. the only area they look average in is CM, but anderson is finally coming good for them.

Its a bit too soon to make any real assumstions, wait till city are playing in january and against better teams. Give it 10 or so game like the old saying goes.

What I would like to know is how come we did not go for him when he was cheaper...Bruce out

Aguero on the evidence of that 20 mins is more than a replacement for Tevez, and according to Mancini is not on top form yet. With a bit if luck he will be injured when we play them.

If they are made of metal I have an idea involving magnets and electricity that might work.

Seriously though if we are successful then yes.... in a "if we win it they will come" type way

It really just reinforces the point that there is top 6 with loads of money that might win the league and get in the Champions League etc then there is the bottom lot who will be fighting relegation and then those in the middle that hope for a cup run!
