Argentinian legend Diego Maradona would appear to be fast becoming a Manchester City fan after he praised son-in-law Sergio Aguero following his stunning hat trick at the weekend.

Maradona's affection for the light blue shirt was first instilled during his time spent at Napoli and is being carried on by Aguero, who continues to shine in England following his big-money move from Atletico Madrid.
Talking to journalists ahead of his first official game in charge of UAE outfit Al Wasl, a glowing Maradona took time out to discuss matters in Manchester, saying City is the perfect club for the 23-year-old - who's married to his daughter, Giannina - to excel at.

'I said Aguero needed a team that would support him so he can play in the Champions League and can play in very important championships,' the 50-year-old explained.
'It was not the case with Atletico Madrid. People from Atletico Madrid said I was a fool. I told them that foolish person wasn't me because Aguero is now playing for a team... Manchester City... that will fight for everything.
'Now Aguero is playing in a place that he deserves.'
Fast turning into a legend in his own right, Aguero was composed and modest following the big win over Wigan.
Speaking to CityTV he said: 'It was great to get the three goals but the most
important thing is that we keep winning.

'A hat trick is good but for me the most important goal was the first one, as
    we needed to score.'
Fittingly, Aguero will line up against his father-in-law's old club Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday night, and it's expected the ever charismatic Maradona will be a very interested onlooker.

So far so good with the S. Aguero transfer, however lets not get carrried away. Let us see how he plays when he is not scoring, as long as he is making goals for us I will not be that bother. Although I can't forsee where Sergio won't be scoring for to long.
