I'm not getting too excited until I know how to pronounce it. If it is Serge (as in surge) - they can keep him, but if it is Serge (as in 'ay' at the end) then I think he would do well for us. Most of our squad names are quite dull - Tony, Jesse, David etc - so some Gallic flair would go down well on the team sheet.
It is spelt the Italian way so it is "surge" - ready made for ****ty tabloid puns. He does seem an un-Mouriniho signing though as he is a bit of a character to put it politely and Jose seems to like stoic guys in defence http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-37470381
IF he comes, it could be the basis of a great defensive partnership with Bailly, the two already play together at international level but it would almost certainly see Valencia get demoted to the bench, which would be a shame given that he has been one of our most improved players under JM. Having said that, he would give us another option on the right wing, his original position - so more positives than negatives if the move comes off.
I like the Auriers with the white cream filling. They introduced ones with chocolate filling but that just fcks up the point of the biscuit ffs!! You can get a pack of Auriers for £1 in Tesco these days so I expect United to buy cheap for once.
