On the bright side, ER, you still have the inevitable farewell **** session to look forward to. Oddly, she gets as durty in that session as she used to when ye's first met. Go figure.
Tiz true enough but you find her **** has been stretched by a load of other blokes she's ****ed during the separation <stirring the porridge>
I also have a sneaking suspicion they're also letting you know what you'll never be getting again. The twisted bitches.
I never gave farewell ****s. Mine weren't long n drawn out -'oot ye go, ****, and don't come back.' I said it, not them. You should just get the divorce over and done with, unless you're hoping for a reconciliation.
The farewell **** session normally occurs 12-24 months after seperation. Around 18 months it was for me. After that I found out it was surprisingly common for split couples to have one final major shagging session.
For that to have happened, there must have still been feelings there. Hence the reason it never happened with either of mine. They were punching way above their weight with me. :boak:
Not at all. Neither of us was interested in getting back together. Well I certainly wasn't. Like I said, subsequently found out it's a surprisingly common thing to happen. Dunno if it's an unfinished business kinda thing, or some sort of closure. Don't know and don't care. I got a right good ride out of it.
Can't afford the lawyers. May represent myself and make a right **** of it and get banged up. Looking like my only option.
My last one only cost a few hundred pounds. If you're both amicable and have agreements re the kids/property/money it shouldn't be too bad. Then again, if there's kids involved, it could be more expensive.
You don't need a lawyer if you can both agree a seperation agreement (who gets what). If so, ye both sign it and that's it. Wait two years. Get the paperwork to request the divorce (dunno where from - a friend who is a clerk of court got it for me). Ye both fill it in. Get it signed by a Justice of the Peace. Take it to a Sheriff Court to lodge it. Pay the fee. Et voila. The decree nisi arrives shortly therafter and yer free again. And tina is right, no point ****ing about. Apply for divorce as soon as you can (2 years). No point being legally bound to anyone longer than you have to be.
Just one correction, you don't need to wait the 2 years if there's 'fault'. Genuinely better getting it over and done with, like Gammy said.
True, but if you want to get divorced before that you have to get lawyers involved. Same if the divorce is contested. If ye are seperated for 2 years or more the divorce will be granted regardless.
Decree nisi is English. We don't do nisi and absolute up here. Pretty sure a lawyer has to lodge the papers with the sheriff, Gamby.
Canny mind what it was called. Thought it was nisi. Anyhoo, nope. No lawyer was involved in my divorce. Got the correct paperwork, signed by a justice and lodged at a Sheriff's Court. The one in Hamilton or Motherwell. Canny mind which. Hamilton, I think.
