I went to a business meeting at the Vale. Got there a few minutes early and saw the lads having a practice game. 10 a side for some reason. Made my way down behind the goal and was just working out who was playing where when I was approached by security (in a friendly way) and was asked what I was doing and if I had business with CCFC. I explained why I was there and was asked to leave the immediate area as it is now against Premier League rules for anyone not connected with the club itself to be pitch side in training areas unless previously authorised. Apparently this is due to the Balotelli/Mancini incident last year when someone got a pick of Mancini trying to stick one on Balotelli. Being an st holder for many years doesn't count!!! I had to go back up to the access road for the hotel which was just about too far to make everyone out - other than Hudson was alongside Caulker with McNuggs at right back and Turner at cb for the other side with Marshall behind him. I have to say that for a practice game some of the tackles were pretty tough. They have been told to put up security gates at each entrance to stop people wandering in. Must remember to take camera with zoom lens next time. Outside the hotel I saw Cornelius walking in, no sign of a limp so fingers crossed he will be okay for the Spammers game.

I'd never have guessed. Didn't have any chains and didn't want to get my suit dirty so sit down protest wouldn't have worked for me and I would probably have got a banning order.

Yes, that tickle stick is a pain in the ar$e. Almost as bad as having a kitten lick your,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,face!!!
