Injured by players, unfortunately yes, but not killed! What has the world come to? I officiate at local level and although there have been a few hairy moments in 15 years I have never known anything like this. I would just like to share my deepest sympathy for the poor family he leaves behind and I hope that we never see an incident like this ever again.
