He was pretty good for Arsenal, but has Philippe Senderos become the worst defender in the Premier League this season? The way he's been playing, you'd be forgiven for thinking he was a pub player.
Shocking display yesterday and all season for that matter. Senderos, Amorebieta, Riise and Zverotic should not be playing premiership football. However we are not blessed with options. I blame Jol, he did nothing about it and his defensive additions bar Riether (who in my view cannot defend either but offers quite a bit going forward) should be released. Awful no wonder we ship goals. 46 goals against in 21 games...average over 2 a game. By far the worst in the league. We'll go down if this is not addressed. 3 clean sheets all year....the last Villa Dec 8 speaks for itself.
The thing is, we do have options. Burn, Hangeland, Richardson, Hughes, Riether, Briggs, and even the likes of Grimmer. Rene just persists with SenderDross and Riise for some reason.
To class Senderloss as an average pub player is an insult to the brewery trades sportsmen. i have said it for some time now he is useless.
Sorry guys but he's terrible Who said he was good for Arsenal?..no he wasnt. He was a complete disaster and even in his national team he is poor. Nothing against your team but you need better than him to move forward.....IMHO
Knew we would lose to Sunderland second I saw Senderos starting,, just not good enough and we will go down if we keep playing him. Burn, Amorebieata, Hughes and Hangeland all ahead of him for me
Senderos is our more recent day zat knight. He seems to have fairly decent periods of defending but when an attacker try's to turn him he can mess up big time. He would shine in the championship.
