send the looters into the army

why dont the courts send all convicted looters for a stint in the army in iraq that would put the fear of god up them!

 

There's already one thread on the riots, are there going to be a whole host of threads on all the aspects now on what is mainly a site dedicated to Charlton? What happened to the 2 threads in a day rule?

For the record,Crack Addick was right we have a professional army which is struggling to fight on several fronts at the moment. We do not need them to be weighed down with the responsibility of looking after several hundred incompetents. Your suggestion is similar to the thought of bringing back national service which in itself is not a bad idea but would entail bringing back every single one of our stretched resources around the globe to train them and probably in the process dilute the high quality of our armed forces which are admired around the world.

 

ok perhaps i was thinking allowed to much last night weve had descussions all day what to do with these people been caught,i was just getting opinions from people on here whats the best solution i think the courts are handing out ridiculous sentences for the amount damage these low life have caused in peckham,lewisham and clapham not forgetting eltham,argos been ransaked in eltham twice what i lead to believe.ok perhaps the army wont be a good idea but my thinking on that is it will sort them out jail is to soft for them,they need either boot camp sent to usa for 6 months or some tougher punishment i be interested to know what other fans on here think we should do to the ones found guilty?

 

i was watching steve wilkos show on living the other week and he sent a 11 year old to a maximum security jail in the usa and believe me all they had was one bed one wash basen ,no tv and no playstations etc he was sxxting himself after just one day this is the sort of jail system we need in this country u can just imagine one of these looters in a maximum security jail?it would sort out this society if we had prisons like in america,if u get chance watch a re run on living of this episode
