This is probably already in the pipeline but WFC must allow the 1881 to be able to organise a solid group of vocal support in a central position.

Our support at the Wembley playoff with Crystal Palace was disappointing to say the least although I appreciate this was the catalyst for forming the 1881.

Due to Roy and his merry band our away support is often fantastic, lets do everything to help the team.

As far as i know, it's already being sorted. That was, after all, the catalyst that created the 1881 :)

Spot on SH. Only good thing to come out of that day at Wembley was the start of 1881 and how far we have come with organising our support. It really showed yesterday.

Liverpool and Villa got just under 32,000 each last year.

We've got to get this right with the 1881 and outsing Palace. Hopefully you're right Hornette, and planning for this is already underway. On another note, shall we all turn up wearing black? <laugh>

Interesting to see what happens. This is the FA rather than the Football League. They'll make it difficult if they can.

    lol maybe we should!

Meanwhile, there's a lot of planning underway and the 1881 are in talks with the club as to the best way to go about this...it maybe that everyone who wants to sing will be told which block to buy tickets for, or, if possible, to get the club to buy the blocks and the tickets sold to those people who want to sing via the club...or other options not yet discussed!

Showing as 3pm, but assume this is the default time. I expect it will kick off at 5:30pm

Probably after the league programme. If it's genuinely on the Saturday then that'll do me nicely, particularly when we win because then I can celebrate "properly" not being a school night...

It will be down to the TV companies and what they want. Logic says that our game should be on the Sunday as both clubs have much easier travel than Everton and possibly Utd - but when has logic ever been part of football?

You mean like sending fans from Hertfordshire and the South Coast to Villa Park for a 4PM Sunday kick off? <steam>.

Makes no odds to me as I can walk there!

I'm also within walking distance ...it would only take me about 15 hours .
As a cat B home supporter will I be able to get tickets ? ..I wonder how much of our allocation will go out to our corporate bods .
An allocation of circa 30,000 should get all the regulars in .... one advantage of supporting a smaller club .

Yeah, you should be fine. I think the SF allocation is around 32K, so should be more than enough.
