With all the money in the game now if a multi billionaire wanted to buy our club and pretty much do exactly the same as what is going on at Manchester City how would you feel? Would you see it as something great for the club or do you think it would be selling the soul of the club and would not be in favor of it?

For me 10years ago no one would envisage City being in the position they are now, a FA Cup in the trophy cabinet, champions league football played at the etihad during the 2011/12 season and some of the world's best players such as David Silva, Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero playing for the club Manchester City are certainly one of the big clubs in Europe now and its not down to hard work and fantastic management on and off the field its due to the owner Sheikh Mansour.

If it happened to us it would be the best thing that has ever happened to the club to see some of the top players we can only dreaming about playing for us actually pulling on the red and white stripes and going into every game expecting to win and challenging for the league.

Would you see it as a good or bad thing?

To be honest, couldn't care less.
I still think football is going to hit a wall, money wise.
And these super rich people may lose interest in their toys, especially if things don't go the way they hoped.
They are rich enough to just write off their losses and dump a club, leaving them in limbo.

I much prefer Short he seems to have an affinity with SAFC.

I pretty much agree with the above....I feel that if we do achieve something it will be through a joint effort of owner, management, training staff, players and supporters, and all of us would feel a sense of pride. In the case of Man City, and Chelsea before them, this would not be the case.

Agree, and isn't Short a multi billionaire? A work colleage met short in the black cats bar a couple of years ago and was taken back at how passionate and clued in the guy was with all things Sunderland.
