Selling stuff on ebay help please!

i've bought a few stuff on ebay but i'm new to selling

it says i need to get a sellers account on ebay to sell, dont remember registering for that thing but it says i have so hey ho..

also for paypal, i've used it to buy some things before, but do i have to verify the account with the 2 amounts they deposit into your account for verification, before listing up my auctions? if someone wins my auction will it just pay the money into my account anyway even though it could take 2-3 days to verify?

reason i'm asking is i dont want to list the stuff up before later realising i needed to do all this

You have to verify your account with paypal, give them a ring its easier, and yes you do have to register as a seller, once again it is easier to ring them. At least you know its all correct then.

i've already registered as a ebay seller (dont remember doing so but it says i have), i've alread sent off the verification thing for paypal, it says it takes between 2-3 days..

The online Paypal process of verifying you as a private seller is very straight forward, and simply confirms that you have a working bank account, and verifiable address, the process takes just a few minutes, and is far simpler than a phone call!....................

Just one bit of advice swamp, and that's to take into account Paypal and ebay fees when setting your start price.

Also be prepared to have your reptation as a seller destroyed by as few as one buyer who will give negative feedback just because they can.You basically have no right to appeal.Harsh but true.It's a buyers market and lot's of good people out there but tread wearily.

my first thing sold , the thing is collection only so i aint posting anything to anyone but it says on my notifications thingy 'I need to post 1 item. Purchase and print postage label.' , anyone have any ideas how to make this go away??
