The strikers he was given didn't match the promises we were given.He promised us a quality striker,he gave us Pedro(Can't question his effort but his best days are gone),Amrabat(Can't knock his effort either but his best days were gone years ago,along with his legs) and a speculative punt from Blackpool(who must've been blessed by the pope himself to squeeze that amount of money out of us.) No harm to the lad at all but he's struggling at this level,a trier nevertheless!

I'm not sure what expectations you can possibly have giving a coach these options.Did he seriously believe that Selles would trump Roseniors finishing position?

I'll wait for official confirmation(though it looks like there's much truth in the sacking) and if this is true,we all need to hold onto our hats for another rollercoaster ride of a season.

No coach,players queuing up at the exit door and an owner who clearly thinks bringing in 38 year old has-beens is the magic formula for getting out of this division...

Steve Bruce is in Hull tonight, sadly not to be interviewed for the manager job. The day he walked out was the day this club dismantled itself.
