Perfect, have a manager build a team for 3 years to get in the premier league and get rid of him if we don't beat Everyon, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U! Insulting to the club and the owners

... the owners have already demonstrated that they have more patience than most in not deposing NP during that 17 match winless run just two season's ago ... as I alluded to in the OP, the writer hasn't exactly done much research ...

They won't be so patient if it looks like you're slipping out of the prem, he'll be a goner!

    same goes for us.

If im being honest, i think we probably are favourites.

Should NP get the sack, which is more likely than other clubs as we are competing at the bottom, then we are probably most suited to him as he has never been relegated and have the structure and financial backing to allow him to flourish.

Now dont get me wrong as i hope and dont think NP will get the sack but in terms of neutral betting i agree that we are the favourites.

... I'd have a 'post fat Sam' Hammers ahead of us by some distance tbf ed... I'd also throw in West Brom and Villa as they both have fairly recent 'owners history' in the sack race ...

He'll get a job long before we're in a position in which we might even think of sacking Nige. Our tough start fixtures-wise means it'll be at least 10 league games before we can see how we'll do against other clubs within our "mini-league."
