After reading a few comments it seems a few people are nervous with the lack of creativity/big name signings. IMO by all accounts it does seem that the club is trying to recoup some money but there is still time left to see who else if any we bring in. As I've said on here already I'm nervous as I don't think we are stronger than the start of last season and are a bit of an unknown. This is not a bad thing as I also see us as being more workman like and think we will not be bullied as much as last year but I think we are lacking two more players (Loanees is available) one of which should be for the LW and possibly another striker. I'm sure Bruce already knows this as it's his neck on the line (and I don't think he'll be given that long) so it looks like it could be an interesting few weeks but lets hope we will all be pleasantly surprised by either the signings we make or the way our current team gel/play.
I think we are a stronger unit than last season, and some people take these friendly results too seriously..

I've had that as well Whitey...... Someone calling me a snidey c*** and then not leaving their name!!!! Irony at it's best! I got really narked about it at first. Thought it was one particular person, but he denied it, leave it there. I've had a few more but just laugh now.........

Not nervous at all. Stronger team overall which in itself pushes the players to strive harder. Lost Judas. yes, but will get goals from midfield this season which, in theory, doesnt mean we need a 20 goal a season man. Expecting 10th minimum and a cup run. That would be an improvement. Little bit of tweaking the season after and hopefully push for that europa place.

I think the poeple who leave neg rep without signing are probably only rarely the same people who actually get into 'banter' on the forums. When I get neg-repped it just makes me think the person is a cowardly ****e who knows they'll get pwoned if they tried to respond on the forums - doesn't upet me in the slightest.

Okay chum. We can close the lid on this particular episode so long as you know that back stabbings not my style. Keep the comments reasonable and I'll do the same. Like I said as a football man I have some sympathy for your plight but as a Sunderland fan I hope he stays for the next 20 years.
