La Liga v Scottlsh Premier League v Premier League So which is better? If you like your football predictable then theres 2 choices. Both are pretty much the same. If you like the pure excitement of not knowing whats going to happen, fantastic battles week in week out. Hard fought points in every game. Upsets are common place, teams remain interested as they always have a chance then theres only one option. Should help find what sort of fans we have on here aswell.
Well one has the greatest team ever playing in it, and beats nearly everyone, including everyone in europe. If you like dull games, with some truly awful teams, yes stoke and wigan I am looking at you playing awful football. Then yes, its the better league. Also spends a lot more money than la liga. And has but 1 top class team in. If you like technically gifted players whilst watching the worlds best ever team do their thing, then la liga is the way forward. 2 top class teams in.

Its the PL, not the EPL. And so? When people like you have the wrong opinion, I try my best to educate you. There is no clause in my life contract that say's I have to say my countrys national league is better, when it is not.
Surely you mean if you like watching the world's best team dump all over the other teams, including the second best team in the league? I'd rather watch Utd vs Blackpool than any match in La Liga barring Barca - Real. And at least the PL is competitive outside the top clubs. Valencia came third and got dumped out of the CL by Schalke for crying out loud!
Just because you think someone's opinion is wrong doesn't make it so. We all like different things when watching football. I like to watch football that is passionate, high tempo and unpredictable. You like football where you know who will win before the game starts.
We didnt exaclty do brilliantly against valencia did we? And its hardly barcas fault they are so much better than any other team in the world is it? I mean I have seen bottom half la liga teams play better than we did against them. Are we suddenly a bad team, dont think so either.
You can say that about any team that play barca. I suppose by your logic the rest of the world is crap right? Passionate and hightempo? You do realise that this is what makes our national team so dire? Because we play with running all day long rather than with a slow build up invilving technique.

I agree with the OP. The quality in La Liga is just a joke. Man Utd would walk that league. Real Madrid are about a 5th or 6th quality team in the PL and are made to look good by the jokes of teams in La Liga. If Real Madrid had to play a top 6 English team they would be found out. With their defence and the PL sides attack and defence I reckon they would put atleast 3 past Real Madrid and wouldn't concede cos our proper defences are proper. Barcelona would not cope against a physical English team either. Man Utd absolutely destroyed Valencia and Rangers, Barcelona can't even do that. There isn't even a discussion here. All the best players and teams are in the PL.
Hey Barry, Remember La Liga does not have Rooney and he is a dazzling player and because La Liga does not have him it can't be better. Also how would Barca cope on a rough pitch on a cold Saturday afternoon at Stoke? I rest my case, the PL is superior!!!
