    Contrary to those
    Who feel that the close
Of our season will be too tough,
    I´d prefer to meet
    Them, than those with feet
    Dangling near the Championship trough

    For them it´s their lives
    At stake, while the five
Or six at the top are well clear,
    With points on their mind
    And so we might find
Them less of a challenge to fear

    So when, very soon
    Wednesday afternoon
We all set our sights homeward bound,
    In this year´s campaign
    With both joy and pain
We´ll hope that the points can be found

    And in that regard
    Three points in the yard
Of Pulis would do very well,
    While possibly one
    And definitely none
Would encourage quite a sea swell

    But against Man U
    They showed what we knew
That they can be more than a match,
    When heads are screwed on
    And nerves are long gone
We´re as handy as any of the batch

    And now that we´ve seen
    Them all once, I mean
The same as I meant at the start,
    With what we have here
    And what others have there
We should end in the middle of the chart. OTBC - IHIT

Wonderful as usual RBF, I'm still very much half full, I think when our wounded are fit and well we'll see a vast improvement in our fortunes!

Hi RBF bor, thanks for the well wishes, prosperous New Year to you and yours. Where the Hell did our team get to against Fulham, no excuse. Holding fast in the wall against a free kick is basic and doesn't reflect on our coaching staff, against MU we deserved a point but Lady Luck turned her back on us. Only halfway, long way to go yet.

Evening Dave and NORKIE, must confess I´m actually looking forward to the games between the beginning of April and the end of the season, and would have been far more concerned if, when that time comes, we had had to play 5 or 6 of the bottom 7 or 8 for example. Some people already seem to have written off those last few games as being´point-less´, I wouldn´t be so sure.
