Stockport you could blame the pitch but both teams play on the same turf, Stevenage you could blame the ref but both teams have the ability to play mind games, and lets face it we know what kind of team they are! Having secured league 2 stability, have the team settled for an easy run in? Listening to the Port Vale game I was looking forward to watching Kinniburgh and Purkiss finally get a run out, but neither they, or the rest of the team turned up, the subs had no impact, Potter pulled out of every challenge and looked tired too. We all know Worley no defender but finds the net better than our forwards at the moment maybe we should put him upfront? The announcement as we left the game said it all ââ¬ËHope to see you next home gameââ¬â¢ if we a performance like that our gate will only decline, next match win/draw or lose I hope the team decide to turn up! Worst performance at home this season!
I agree last night was rubbish and we know exactly what Stevenage are all about but we couldn't do anything about it and Stevenage deserved the win. Time and time again we were bullied off the ball and high balls not challenged. Let's face it Harry Worley seems way out of his depth at this level, especially the last few games but who is there to replace him? I thought team selection was the main problem last night, there was absolutely no pace or width in the team, we really missed Batt at right back and McClean was just awful
