He certainly has plenty of experience and through injury we are a bit short in central defence at the moment. I did spot that you had stated that he needed to have his right head on. Is that simply something to do with the problems he has with the current manager?

Yes he was brought to us by Chris Hughton, when Hughton was sacked he disrespected our new manager and refused to play for him!

On paper a great signing, good experience and hopefully can deal with our problems from crosses - at 6ft2 one would hope so - and shore up a leaky defence. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sébastien_Bassong

It just concerns me a bit as to why Norwich would sell someone so 'good' to one of their 'rivals.' What do they know that we don't? Or maybe they just don't rate us!! ;) It could be that they just want him to get some game time with us and take him back fully fit in Jan.

Looks like another leader on the pitch potentially a great signing. Sounds to me like Norwich can't use him, massive fallout a bit like Sannino and Dyer.....

And he doesn't have to worry about not getting on with the gaffer at Watford.

Oh dear - lets hope that isn't the case with us as he sounds like a useful player with good experience.

Mark, it was mainly because he had worked with Hughton previously at Newcastle and they hasd a good working relationship, he was reacting to Hughton's sacking!
