Two for one time: First, and it's only a small point I know, but does anyone else think that our dugouts look rubbish? I know the seats are practical but, come on. We're in the Premier League now. We should definitely have those sporty Recarro type seats in black and white leather. They look the part and would reflect our new status. The games are now beamed around the world, and whether we like it or not image is important. They'd probably be paid for through sponsorship, and may have the effect of of making away managers not looking quite so forlorn as poor Arsene did on Sunday. Just a thought. I know that these things aren't big on anyone's agenda, nor should they be, but what do you think? Secondly, poor Dorus: http://bbc.in/wryFCk When will our ex players ever learn? It's not always greener.
Good point about the seats and our image. It doesn't help, either, that so much of our ground shows those great lumps of grey concrete so redolent of those spartan grounds in East Europe. Surely it wouldn't cost a fortune for a little cosmetic face-lift? As for Dorus, he made his bed....... We really got the best end of the deal when we signed Vorm.
Wenger looked like a little lost boy Sunday ,would refitting the technical area impact on the seating directly behind. Agree ,grey concrete isn't my favourite colour
The dugouts look like cheap bus-shelters and need upgrading. As for Dorus, possibly the worst decision made by a footballer. Ever.
Must say I agree, would like to see the dugout improved. But it was funny seeing Wenger as Billy no mates!
They could get some decent seats in for Brendan and our lot but sod the opposition I say. As for Dorus, who cares? We've got Vorm, he went for his reasons but I wish him no ill will.
Interesting comments. I agree we shouldn't care about our ex-players but let's face it we always keep an eye on them. At least I do. I think most people at the time said he was making a mistake, and putting out comments like 'Wolves are the team more likely to stay up' after they survived on the last day last season didn't endear him to most of us. He was offered a cracking deal here but thought the grass would be greener. Not the first ex-Swan to do so. Hennessy was always going to be number one and now Dorus will probably never play for Holland. We've all made mistakes in life haven't we but we have to live by them. The rules of Karma mean we now have a much better keeper and Dorus has to live with his decision. Pointless him bleating about it. Glad others see the dugouts in the same light as me. They are rubbish.
That! I really like the idea that all these multi millionaire PL bosses have to travel all the way to Swansea, and to top it off they have to sit on ****ty plastic chairs! All part of the experience innit...

No patience nor sympathy for Dorus or Pratley for that matter. The only people who made out with "their" thinking and moves were the agents involved. The players, from a football perspective, have suffered. Clearly whatever cash incentive he received for the move is not floating the Dorus boat at the moment.
Its beginning to be the `curse' of the Swans...every player who has left has seen their career go instantly downhill.
From another point of view, I wonder how McCarthy is taking Dorus' comments. If I was the Wolves boss I think I'd be having a come to Jesus meeting about this and making sure his head was on straight. The last thing Wolves can tolerate down the home stretch is a player publicly stating that his season is done and then possibly switching off - even marginally - his focus, intensity, work ethic and readiness to play.
Feel a bit sorry for our old " Flapping Bird " as a Wednesday poster called him a few seasons ago ... I still laugh .
Let's say that (god forbid) we lose Vorm in the September window. Who'd be okay with us picking up Doris again? Britton came back...
As back up but not first choice for me, I would think the club would be looking at the situation of losing Vorm as we speak, we won't lose him in January but ?
That's all speculation though. If he goes it'll be at a hefty price. On the seats front. Watching the Norwich v Chelsea game and they have those snazzy seats at Carrow road. They look really cool and project the right image. Btw if Chelsea play like they did first half we'll take them next week. I know Norwich have done well so far but I still don't like the way they play. Lost count of the long balls into the box hoping that Morison or Holt get on the end of it. I know they're above us but they haven't kept a clean sheet all season (at time of writing) and I can't see them maintaining their lofty position. They may prove me wrong. Who knows? Edit: Chelsea have stepped it up second half. 0-0 final result so well done Norwich.
