A question if i may; i'm thinking of taking one of my boys to the sacred carrow road for the first time, so probably a question for someone with kids. what is the difference between the Aviva Community stand infill, and the 'family area' infill betweeen the N&P and Geoffrey Watling stands? is one more preferable - obvisously both are going to be pretty quiet in terms of atmosphere. also looks like most of the seats in the family area have resticted views in part because of the floodlight pole. any advice from the regulars is appreciated!
I have a season ticket in the Aviva Community Stand, but have sat in the Coca-Cola section. Problem was it was about ten years ago, so I can't really remember. What I will say is that both are perfectly fine for kids, but I would prefer the Community stand. Yeah, there's no atmosphere, but, despite the massive pole (although I don't even notice it anymore - unless the ball's right in the far corner), you get a great view of the entire pitch - it's like watching a game on the telly!
i'm a season ticket holder go for the community stand as you will not have pole in the way. the other one you where talking about has a pole in the way so the community stand is best the community stand does have a pole but all you have to do is try and get a seat nearer the jarrold stand area o then you should be ok
thanks both hucks and Andy will probably depend on ticket avaliability nearer the time (community seems more popular and has ST holders compared to the family infill if you look at what is left for the everton and fulham games)
I'm in the N&P Lower row J with the goal just to my left and have a great view - there are sometimes a few seats for sale to the general public. Quite a few families around me and there is some atmosphere at times.
thanks JR, sounds good that option. I haven't been in the N&P lower since i had a ST when it was a terrace! I quite fancy a bit of a blast from the past. the problem I have is that my son isn't a member (i'm not paying £15 membership just for one game!) so have to will have to wait for tickets to go on general sale. By then, there's only the odd seat dotted here and there in the N&P as well as the other stands, looking at the games on sale now. I might be OK nearer the end of the season, as looking at either Swans or Reading games in April
It is usually just the odd seat here and there when they go on general sale as you say and the Saints game in March may be an option as well. I imagine the Swans game may be more popular.
