So the powers that be want to reduce the amount of travel fans have to do during the week and programme the computer to throw out mid week trips to Burton, Villa, Newcastle, Barnsley as well as making their fans travel to HQ for reciprocal mid week fixtures.......the lunatics are truly in charge.:headbang:

What they have likely done with Newcastle, Villa and ourselves is understood whose fans are more likely to make the longer midweek trips, and where they had to fall in the schedule, make those teams more likely.

No point in involving certain clubs in that, because we all know Reading fans don't travel anywhere further than thirty miles or so from Homebase. And yes, that was 'Homebase', not 'home base'...

First 7 games are not exactly easy.....MASSIVE, mini massive, TRULY MASSIVE (Thanks to Kiwi & Co), Preston, Wigan, Blackburn and the BIGGEST MASSIVE in the division........I'd happily take 12 points from those opening games.

It's annoying as they are good trips to make a weekend of it. Can't really do them mid-week with work.

After such a massive start, let's hope our season doesn't end in a fizzle at Carrow Road.

Barnsley v QPR Tue 16 Aug 19:45

Our mid-week away trips to Barnsley resume, but this season on a warm summer Tuesday night, rather than the frigid depths of winter.
