Now I am astonished it's ONLY 7%. People were on about we were going to lose loads, weirdly with the club putting up prices a few %%% it doesn't actually make a massive difference. If fans were quite as anti Mick as is being claimed the figure would have dropped more. This is STILL HIGHER than the end under Royston total mong Keane by the way............ Seems the fans are again going to get behind us. Quite a pleasing result this considering how crap we've been for whatever reason since January. I wonder if the scrapping of A/B/C will encourage more casual fans back to Portman Road? I'm glad to see A scrapped but with it being a generic expensive cost of £27.50 cheapest tickets it's a non-incentive for the casual fan to rock up. Away fans are still being charged through the nose. Now the club have a decent commitment from us + £2 mill that every club has been given, lets see what they are going to do back. If it's another summer of frees / loans it's going to make it very difficult for us to compete next season.
I will renew my Season Ticket, but it is in no way an endorsement of the present management.I have frequently expressed my dissatisfaction with MM and will only be really happy once he's gone.I have watched Town through thick and thin and it will take more than his clueless Hoofball style to stop me as it's as much a social event meeting up with my Dad and brother in law for a pint and chat as it is about the footie. Ipswich 'til I die.
Good lad mate! It's a great social event the footy. Have to see what happens next season I guess. We did at least try to play the start of this season.
