http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~2583252,00.html Fair play to the board - they have kept prices very, very competitive if we renew early, as per usual. I think the club have managed to get the balance of the increase just about right
what will be more of interest to some of us who cannot get to games regularly, are the casual prices, which are in my eyes expensive. I doubt these will be released until we know which league we are in. fair play though on the ST prices.
max, i think it is inevitable that casual match day tickets will be expensive until such a time that capacity can be increased significantly. there are just so few tickets available casually that they must be like gold dust - there are nowhere near enough available for each game is necessary to please everyone and therefore, whether right or wrong, the club are able to charge an extortionate amount for these. i'm lucky enough to live locally and have a season ticket and but i totally understand fans, and away fans lets not forget, who are upset with the price of our tickets. season ticket holders though have little to moan about. having said that, i've set myself a personal limit and the second that limit is met on season tickets, i will give mine up. thankfully we are still some way short of that but if rises continue at the same rate, my limit will be met in the next two or three years. maybe others will have had their limits met today
i think the key for me will be how much they go up from what they are now. i've been to one home game this season, so it's a treat more than anything for me, but if i was going to 5-10 home games as season it may put me off. Agreed with your supply and demand point though, and my point was really about the increase coming.
Just seen the prices and have to say that our prices must be the envy of a great many clubs. I think the board have rewarded the fans' loyalty and I know that I've been in the same seat for the past 5 years and most of the fans around me have been there longer than me - even in the dark days of League 1. Let's hope that we're still in the Premier League next season and I've 'put my money where my mouth is', by putting a bet on that we'll still be there!!!! Yes, the price of casual tickets is VERY expensive, especially with so many being Grade 'A' games. I agree that the top 6 should be (swapping Liverpool for Newcastle), but I haven't seen any Grade 'C' games so far.
