Should there be some sort of limit to how much clubs can charge for season tickets?

I think a club like ours charging fans over 500 quid for the **** football we've been mostly subjected too over the last 5-6 years is daylight robbery.

The fans will turn up through thick and thin, and if we want to keep attendances over 50k, we need to lower prices.

People are not gonna put up with this **** unless the money is right.

I pay £355 for mine and £105 for my daughters and think that is very reasonable indeed for two.
Clubs can charge what they want, it's basically supply and demand.
Look at Chelsea and Arsenal and even for your £500 ticket we pay a fair price.
At the end of the day if someone isn't happy paying a specific price the answer is simple, don't.
A lot of lads I know just cherry pick games and go when they want.

Unfortunately, we can't have it both ways. If we want the club to be able to compete for the best players we cant ask them to do that with less money coming in. Like ACS said, at least its not the Emirates.

I'm more annoyed at what other clubs charge us as visiting supporters, now that really is disgraceful! <grr>

£39 for West Brom tomorrow and just bought my West Ham ticket (another £39). Apparently the QPR tickets are going to be £50+. Now that from a team that will be in the Championship next season and isn't short of money is ridiculous.

This is where a cap should be applied. The down side is that it might lead to teams with high prices reducing the away allocation to compensate.

Arsenal and Man City were expensive, around the £50 mark, I think Chelsea was about that much also, but I have a relative that went away to Birmingham when they were in the Premiership, and he was charged £50.
    Outrageous!

Just found an old Villa ticket for the game on the 10th April 2011, the price was £41.

The ticket for the St. Patricks day slaughter at Wigan was £25.

Fulham on the 10th Dec 2012 was £40.

Aye - Man City cost me £50.00. With travel thrown in it was £78.00. Ridiculous.

The fact that the team didn't turn up again helped to make matters worse.

The £80 mark is about average for an away day game.
