I went out to the ground today to pick up my season ticket and get them for a couple of mates. It would have cost £30 to have the ones I picked up posted so well worth the trip on that count.

What I got handed was 4 very thin envelopes so instantly the thought crossed my mind that there wasn't going to be much exciting in there. Opened it when I got home and wow......what a package. There was a letter from Mr Sheridan telling me what an exciting season it was going to be and all the new people signed up. There was a single bit of paper with my season ticket attached to it and giving the terms and conditions of the issue of the card. There was........well nothing else as that was it. Not even a fixture list which I thought was the reason they couldn't have issued these tickets previously. To be fair this is typical Argyle and absolute crap. And Brent wonders why there is criticism????

Sorry sensible......trying to get my head around the posting costs you mentioned.......are you paying for your own personal postman......or is that the cost of Chris Webb delivering them personally ?

Apparently it's "special delivery" as an excuse for the charge. Absolute joke in my book. The 4 in question could be delivered by taxi for less than half that. At least you have the option of picking it up yourself so anyone who pays that much for a delivery only has themselves to blame. My biggest gripe is the lack of content in the envelope.

To put this in perspective. I went up to HP on Monday of this week to get my tickets. The reason I did this was because I read on a board that people had received their's in the post last Friday so assumed they would be ready for collection also. Got told by the lad inside the window that they were not expecting them to be ready for pickup until Wednesday (today). Now I doubt we have sold more than 4000 season tickets at best. To put these in envelopes having stuck the card to a piece of paper first would take how long? I could have done this in a day at worst when I was working all by myself. Argyle couldn't manage it as an organisation. I was expecting the envelope to contain all sorts given the timescale. As it was the envelope was virtually empty. Sorry but that effort is pathetic Argyle and not to issue a fixture list at all is disgusting.

Received my 2014/5 PASALB membership card today.......plus a comprehensive 52 page away travel guide....listing every away game....London terminus....journey time....pre match pint pub/food/beers on offer....map showing Stations and Grounds.....and even included how to get to Home Park and where to drink as well.

Total cost for a senior citizen......£5 (£10 full cost)........also includes free entry to any arranged Argyle meetings, with players etc....and Christmas get together.....with free pasties and mince pies.

At half the cost of your proposed posted season ticket.

I get the feeling that PAFC are extremely amateur at times in how they deal with the fans.

Their website is hopeless to use and is the last place to go to if you want any info.

A few weeks ago I e-mailed them regarding having a season membership for exiles, who probably will never go to any home games....but would like some info sent plus e-mail up dates on match days regarding team etc......I was willing to pay..... say £25.....to be a registered member.....for very little.....but the answer was no we don't do anything like that.......I get the feeling they just can't be bothered.......they're just throwing money away at a time when every penny should be important.

PS.....my plastic PASALB membership card.....shows every fixture on the back of it for the season.
