Well - it's nearly the month of March. Mr.Scally has said nothing of any deal for early renewal / application of season tickets for 2013/14. He's obviously working out how much more to charge for L1 football. A reminder to season ticket holders ( for those who haven't already done so ) - you have the chance to buy half price tickets for two home games. Not many chances left to grab what will probably be the only 'deal' left this season. edit .... Although I have already used up mine -it might be a thought that those of you who won't be using your full quota - could 'offer' them to other members. edit edit - brb may as well not bother as he prefers to work ! ( I'm just warming up mate )
alwaysright - nice of you to remind me that I'm working this Tuesday mind you it also serves as a bit of a reminder to Mr Scally, that we do actually have to work and pay our hard earned cash towards these season tickets. So think wisely on next seasons pricing, because I will certainly be working out my options very carefully as will many other ST holders. btw, yes, I still do have my two half price tickets.
I am waiting for the season ticket offer because if I am going to buy one I want one early to get it at this seasons price because I feel that prices will probably go up by £2 a ticket.
Hoadie There is no chance of any of us getting an offer to buy at this season's price - and £2 a ticket would probably be the starting point for any increase. Scally will quote the need to finance 'more attractive L1 football', together with the need to safeguard our position at the bank - along with the need to attract better quality players - and then there's the long term new stadium plans bla bla bla - any excuse to squeeze more money out of us. The 'problem' for me is that our current prices are so high - especially for Division 4 football.
I don't often get it wrong. ( my OP suggested no more ticket deals left this season ) 23 March v Accrington, all under 16s for a £ 1
