Alright lads and lasses. Need a bit of advice on my season ticket. My mate has arranged for my seat to be moved from the south west corner to the south stand this morning. My eye sight is spot on but what's it like from watching the game from behind the goal? They all sit in the North stand at the minute but I've only been in the south west corner or the concourse (Right on half way as well). Does your view of the game and what's going on suffer because of not being able to see across the pitch etc? Is it worth the £85 I'll be saving as well. I've got till the end of the week to make a decision. Cheers in advance.
I sit in the South East Corner and find the view fine...I would imagine that if you are used to sitting on the half way line it will take a bit of getting used to.. However, there is not a seat in the stadium which gives such a bad view as the Sunderland fans travelling to the Sports Direct will get in the derby, which is by far the worst you will get in British football..
That's interesting because I love the view at St James, I get to see places so close to home, Hebburn Flats and back in the day Jarra flats. Seriously though with you being so high up it feels like you are on the pitch and a sense that you have as good a view as the linesman, either way I'll give my opinion on their crap decisions ;-) I'm in the south west corner and have been for the last 2 seasons so I won't be any further away from the opposing goal. Apparently they's not many season tickets available on the blocks they've put on sale today by the way.
Fulwell ender at Roker and North Stander at SoL my entire life I have been behind the goal and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere and the view of the game - would like
