Blimey sensible give us a chance......game finished at 4.55pm.....20 min walk to the station.......train came straight away 30 mins to Waterloo.....10 mins walk to Waterloo east.... 10 mins wait for a fast to Orpington 20mins......10 mins wait for Bus.....10 mins on Bus.....10 mins walk home.....arrive home at 6.55pm knackered....hot.....thirsty......tell my beloved how things went.....7.30pm by then.....check how test match finished.....check other football scores......including Bromley beating Wrexham in there first Conference match.....sit down compose my match report.....press send....8pm......I am 76 yrs old now ....I can't do it any faster....I'M SORRY SENSIBLE THAT IT WAS LATE AS FAR AS YOU WHERE CONCERNED.....I'LL TRY AND DO BETTER NEXT TIME. .....and we're only 7th in the league. PS.....and then I find out we're back there in the Paint Cup soon.....not me that's for sure.
I can't add all those times up plym. I got to 3 days and had to give up. Anyway, get the priorities right in future. None of this check the test match result, check if you still had clean pants, check the other scores......what's that all about when you have a pressing duty?
Sorry Mr sensible........I'm dreading the Dag & Red visit, it takes longer to get home using the underground as well......but that's the 28th Nov....I might just recover before then...........
