I think with the thread title you shouldnt have been a lazy git and should have taken the time to do one. Oh and i agree with Dj the Championship is sh1t and we should have got promotion.
The Championship is indeed ****e and no matter what people say about building and patience, the fact is there are always the odd team who just have a really good year that doesn't make sense. This year it's Brighton, in 2008 it was us. Why should we all be patient whe teams like Brighton can just walk from league 1 to the playoffs? I'm not as bothered about it as I was a couple of weeks ago, mainly because we're ending the season well and NB is making all the right noises about next season, the only thing that might stop us having a really good go at it next year is finances. Hopefully the Allams will be generous in their meeting with NB and AP.
It'll be a tougher league next season if you look at the sides coming up from league 1 and the ones possibly coming down from the prem and of course the dozen or so sides who will still be in this league who were going for promotion this season. We've missed a good opportunity this season after being so well placed mid season, but hopefully with a finish around 7th/8th and an improved points total it will be seen as steady progress from last year. The way things were looking 3 weeks ago it looked like we'd sink to lower midtable, the fact we've picked ourselves up and ended the season with some pride is something to be positive about. All I will say is look at Reading, similar sized club to us and it's taken them 4 years to get back up after a couple of seasons of consolidation and a play off final defeat. It goes to show with a bit of patience things can be achieved. Overall, we'll have regrets over how things turned out this season, but I think there's things for us to be positive about and to build on for a more successful season in 2012/13.
